    Description: Transportation Department - Bus Driver (50% FTE) - 2026-2027 School Year

    Salary: 

    • $23.00 - $31.00 per hour
    • Position code B130
    • Salary is determined based on years of experience


    This is a 9.5 month position, 4 hours (minimum) per day, Monday - Friday

    Qualifications:

    • Must be 21 years old
    • Must have excellent driving record and skills
    • Must possess, or the ability to obtain, a valid Missouri Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with passenger, school bus, and air brake endorsements.
    • Must successfully complete pre-employment and annual Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
    • Must successfully complete pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing
    • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of transportation safety regulations and procedures
    • Must be mature, reasonable and responsive to the needs of students
    • Previous professional driving experience preferred


    Working Conditions:
    Drive school bus as scheduled

     

    Travel Requirements:

    • Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
