Instructional Design & Development:
- Create and develop effective, engaging, and learner-centric training programs and courses for both in-person and on-line delivery.
- Use instructional design frameworks to create learning materials such as course outlines, storyboards, scripts, e-Learning modules, instructor-led training, and assessments.
- Integrate multimedia, simulations, and interactive learning elements to enhance engagement and retention.
- Design and upload course content to the company’s LMS (Learning Management System), ensuring all materials are accessible and easy to navigate.
- Monitor course participation and learner progress, providing reports on completion and effectiveness.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Use data to continuously improve and refine instructional content and delivery methods.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), supervisor, managers, and other stakeholders to identify learning objectives and translate them into impactful training content.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate apprenticeship programs. Track and report on program progress to stakeholders.
- Maintain program documentation, including agreements and all program materials including: Pay progression, increases, and title changes. Prepare and present progress updates to leadership and other stakeholders.

position are not subject to Federal (D.O.T.) Drug and Alcohol Testing Regulations.
All current employees must have a 'Meets Expectations' or 'Proficient' rating on their most recent performance evaluation to be eligible.
Physical Demands
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Three (3) years in developing training curriculum and training programs for adult learners.
- Three (3) years’ experience in instructional design.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of instructional design models and best practices.
- Proficiency with e-Learning development tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop CS6, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Certification in Instructional Design or e-Learning development (e.g., ATD, ISPI, or similar).
- Experience with video and multimedia production tools is a plus.
