Job Description:

The client operates within the food manufacturing and direct distribution sector, with a strong specialization in frozen and ice products. The company’s core business model focuses on delivering these products directly to end consumers across multiple European countries, ensuring a seamless and efficient distribution process.

Our application is designed to optimize the planning, scheduling, and management of customer tours for direct-to-consumer sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and Define Requirements: Work closely with product managers, software engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, define test objectives, and provide input on user stories and testing task estimates.
  • Streamline Test Documentation and Test Case Management: Create, organize, and manage test cases in a dedicated test management tool to ensure comprehensive coverage, traceability, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop, document, and execute test plans, including various testing types such as System, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, and API testing.
  • Defect Analysis and Resolution: Conduct root cause analysis on defects, collaborate with development teams for swift resolution and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create test reports, release notes, and manage UAT activities to support various stages of the QA process.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Manual Test Engineering.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Test Management tools and Jira.
  • Proven background in manual testing of web-based applications, covering both front-end and back-end functionalities.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in load and performance testing, preferably using Apache JMeter
  • Solid understanding of API testing, including RESTful and SOAP services, using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
