Special Education Paraprofessional - Extended School Year

Delano Schools is looking for a patient, caring, supportive person who can assist teachers in managing/monitoring student behaviors and provide assistance with academic work completion as well as functional skills.    

Job Summary: The paraprofessional will provide support to students in the ESY program.  The paraprofessional will report to a certified teacher for daily scheduling and planning support.  The paraprofessional is expected to follow a schedule as written and implement all support and plans.

Program Dates: July 6th - July 30th, Monday through Thursday

Hours: 8:15am - 11:45am (3.5 hours per day)

Reports to: Lora Voight, Summer Program Supervisor

Qualifications: 

• At least two years of college credits (usually 60 credits if earned in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education; or
• An associate's degree or higher
