Job Description

Soap Packing Associate:

Soap Packing associates are responsible for packaging cured soaps for freight shipment.  This position requires regular lifting of full soap trays and stacking boxes on pallets while maintaining a clean and tidy workspace. Daily production targets must be met while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.   All safety protocols and procedures must be adhered to, including proper handling of equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and compliance with safety regulations and good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


Work Environment:

This position works in a typical warehouse environment.  Pleasant and safe working atmosphere and conditions, which at times may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.


Physical Effort:

Physical effort requires handling of average-weight objects in up to 50 pounds and moderate levels of standing and walking.


Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00pm.  Occasional overtime work may be offered as job duties demand.


Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing preferred, ideally in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to clean and maintain facility upkeep.
