About the Role
The People Data Automation Specialist designs, builds, and maintains automated people data pipelines, reports, and processes that improve data accuracy, speed, and scalability across the People function. This role partners closely with HR, People Analytics, HRIS, IT, and business stakeholders to eliminate manual reporting, enable self-service insights, and support data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do:
People Data Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows for people data ingestion, transformation, and reporting
- Replace manual, error-prone HR reporting processes with scalable, repeatable automation
- Build and schedule automated dashboards, metrics, and data feeds for recurring people insights
HR Systems & Integrations
- Automate data flows between HR systems and analytics platforms
- Partner with HRIS and P&C teams to optimize system integrations and data architecture
- Support system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations from a data automation perspective
Reporting & Analytics Enablement
- Enable self-service reporting through automated dashboards and standardized datasets
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across people metrics
- Document automated processes, logic, and data definitions for transparency and sustainability
Data Quality & Governance
- Implement automated data validation, audits, and exception reporting
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance standards
- Identify and resolve data quality issues at the source
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to further automate, standardize, and streamline people data processes
- Stay current with automation tools, analytics platforms, and people data best practices
- Support data modernization and workforce analytics initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Analytics, or a related field
- 3–6+ years of experience in data automation, analytics engineering, or HR technology roles
- Hands-on experience automating data workflows and reporting processes
- Strong working knowledge of HR data and people metrics
- Proficiency in automation and analytics tools such as:
- SQL
- Power BI or Tableau
- Excel (advanced)
- ETL or workflow tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power Automate, Python, Airflow)

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, ADP)
- Experience supporting people analytics or workforce planning teams
- Exposure to cloud data platforms or data warehouses
- Understanding of HR data privacy, compliance, and ethical use
