Job Description

Job Title: Roving Leasing Consultant

Employment  Type: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Location: This position is in-person and supports leasing efforts at Affinity managed multi-family apartment communities in Kennewick, Washington

  • Lakeside (123 units) 5100 W Clearwater Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336
  • Crown Village (89 units)  445 N Volland St, Kennewick, WA 99336
  • Hood Manor (90 units) 3131 W Hood Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday from 9:00am - 6:00pm. This position will be stationed at Lakeside unless coverage is needed at Crown Village or Hood Manor.

Reports to: Property Manager

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive hourly pay range of $19.00-19.00
  • Monthly transportation allowance of $200.00

Administrative:

  • Comply with all Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements
  • Comply with appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes
  • Attend training and development seminars

Operational & Financial:

  • Advertise and promote the property
  • Utilize industry specific software for lead management
  • Provide tours to prospective and current residents
  • Complete full cycle lease process with prospective residents
  • Ensure compliance with renter’s insurance
  • Maintain resident occupancy of 95%
  • Ensure the timely collection of rent and other ancillary revenue
  • Other duties as assigned by Property Manager

Resident Experience:

  • Engage with your prospective and current tenants using a professional and courteous approach
  • Escalate tenant relation issues to Property Manager
  • Facilitate resident events

What You’ll Need:

  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service and sales experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrates teamwork, good hygiene, ethical behavior and integrity, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, resolve conflicts, and ambition for continuous professional development

Your Work Environment:

  • Approximately 80% in office environment using a computer and phone
  • Approximately 20% inspecting property grounds, including apartments, building structure, landscaping, and signage which may require the ability to climb stairs, ladders and maneuver walkways
  • Ability to carry or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds
