Job Description

Position Summary:

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 2–5. This role includes planning and implementing developmentally appropriate, play-based instruction that supports early academic, social-emotional, and physical development.

The Preschool Instructor supervises children at all times, maintains a structured classroom with clear routines, and promotes positive behavior through guidance and modeling. Responsibilities include observing and documenting student progress, adapting instruction to meet individual needs, and supporting early identification of developmental concerns.

The teacher assists with basic care needs such as hygiene, meals, and transitions, while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Strong communication with families and collaboration with staff are essential to support student success and program quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
  2. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons.
  3. Support early learning in language, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills.
  4. Supervise children at all times, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
