Job Description

Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision of Pharmacy Operations Supervisor and Pharmacists. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

 

Job Summary: Assist pharmacy staff in organization, filling, and packaging of prescriptions.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the stocking of inventory from supplier orders
  • Restock workstation and freezers with filling supplies
  • Prepare packaging and cooler boxes for daily prescription fulfillment
  • Facilitate transfer of prepared packages to shipping vendors (UPS/FedEx)
  • Perform housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional environment
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Attendance Requirements:

  • Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts.

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Pharmacy Technician or related certification

 

Experience: 

  • Experience in a customer service related field
  • 3-6 months’ experience as a pharmacy technician preferred

 

Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Drug test
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

 

Compensation

 

$15.50-17.00 per hour.

 

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
