Job Summary:
Responsible for providing administrative and operational support to Senior Vice President and Leadership. This role ensures seamless day‑to‑day operations by managing complex schedules, coordinating high‑priority initiatives, and serving as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. The overall goal of this position is to deliver professional, exceptional customer service and executive support while maintaining an organized, efficient, and highly responsive office environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include:

The Senior Executive Assistant to the will be primarily involved with performing the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Use discretion and independent judgment and professional skills to perform daily duties and to resolve issues.
  • Support Senior Vice President and Leadership by coordinating priorities and driving key initiatives.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Carry out daily responsibilities within the framework of Alston Construction’s overall policies, procedures and plans.
  • Take effective action to proactively solve difficult or complex issues.
  • Assist Marketing in preparing a wide variety of written materials (presentations, correspondence, reports, etc.).
  • Research, gather and analyze information as necessary to complete assigned projects and duties.
  • Effectively prioritize requests and incoming information, ensuring appropriate level of urgency is assessed and given to each.
  • Organize and handle logistics for events and meetings, to include preparation of agendas, materials, and meeting minutes.
  • Assist Human Resources at the business-unit level with onboarding and other requested tasks.
  • Arrange and manage complex and detailed travel arrangements.
  • Advise Senior Vice President and Leadership of circumstances and issues that affect the business unit/company. 
  • Serve as a liaison for Senior Vice President and Leadership, as appropriate.


This position will also require performance of the following duties:

  • Oversee office management duties, ensuring completion whether performed directly or through delegation to appropriate staff.
  • Maintain documents, files, and records (electronic and/or hard copies) for the purpose of providing up-to-date information and/or historical reference.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education, Experience, and Licensing/Certifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of administrative experience, including a minimum of 5 years supporting senior level executives.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience working for a construction general contractor is preferred.
