About the Role
Azure Standard is seeking a Drop to Home Driver Support Specialist to help support the success of our Drop to Home delivery program. This role is an important part of creating a smooth, reliable, and positive delivery experience for both customers and independent Drop to Home drivers.
The Drop to Home Driver Support Specialist will assist with driver onboarding, answer driver questions, support delivery-related communication, help troubleshoot concerns, and document interactions accurately. This position works closely with the Drop to Home Customer Success Manager to strengthen driver support, improve communication, and help maintain the high service standards that define the Azure experience.
Driver Support & Coordination
- Assist with onboarding new Drop to Home drivers and helping them understand Azure’s delivery standards and guidelines.
- Serve as a point of contact for drivers who need support during delivery routes.
- Respond to driver questions through phone, email, chat, and SMS.
- Provide clear, friendly, and accurate information about delivery schedules, policies, and troubleshooting steps.
- Help resolve driver concerns promptly while keeping the customer experience in mind.
- Document driver interactions accurately for tracking and follow-up.
- Set driver-related follow-up tasks in the CRM under the appropriate driver account.
- Track driver feedback and performance trends to share with the Drop to Home Customer Success Manager.
Operational Support
- Monitor delivery schedules and communicate proactively with contracted drivers regarding changes, delays, or needed updates.
- Identify recurring issues and escalate concerns or process improvement opportunities.
- Support the rollout of new technology, policies, and procedures that help strengthen the Drop to Home program.
Team Collaboration
- Participate in team meetings and share helpful insights from driver and customer interactions.
- Work collaboratively with the Drop to Home Customer Success Manager and other service teams.
- Support other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, helpful by nature, and able to communicate clearly with both drivers and internal team members. This person should be comfortable using systems, tracking details, and helping solve problems in a fast-moving environment.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and remain steady in fast-paced situations.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer applications.
- Familiarity with Azure Standard’s products, values, and mission.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are helpful, but not required.
