Othello Community Hospital is a full-service, critical access hospital located in Othello, Washington. Open 24/7, it provides both inpatient and outpatient care to the surrounding Adams County community with a strong commitment to accessible, high-quality healthcare.

OPEN POSITION: Charge Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

As a Charge RN here at Othello Community Hospital, you’ll be the clinical leader on duty, overseeing patient care in both the Acute Care/Med-Surg and Obstetrics (OB) units. This role blends direct patient care with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring that each shift runs smoothly, safely, and with compassion. You’ll be the go-to resource for staff, a liaison for physicians, and a steady presence for patients and families during the night hours.

·         Location: Othello Community Hospital, Othello, WA

·         Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

·         Status: Benefit-earning position (48–72 hours per pay period)

·         Wage Range: $44.32 – $102.56/hour (plus shift differentials)

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •          Lead the nursing team during your shift, offering guidance, mentorship, and support
  •       Coordinate patient care across departments, ensuring timely assessments, treatments, and discharges
  •       Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
  •       Educate and support patients and families, helping them understand care plans and recovery goals
  •       Respond to emergencies and assist in OB deliveries or critical care situations as needed
  •       Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control, and documentation requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Washington State RN license
  • BLS certification required at hire
  • ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications required within 6 months
  • OB experience preferred (on-the-job training available)
