Job Description:

Associate General Counsel

Job Summary:

As the Associate General Counsel, we are looking for a senior lawyer that has significant commercial contracting experience with drafting and negotiating both procurement contracts and supply agreements, including Master Service Agreements and Volume Contract Commitments.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate supply agreements and procurement contracts
Plan and implement internal policies and procedures
Collaborate closely with sales and procurement
Lead a team of 3 contracting professionals, including lawyers
Position may require some evening and weekend hours
Location is in Chandler, AZ

Qualifications:

JD and bar admission in good standing
8+ years of legal experience
Strong moral and ethical principles

Preferred qualifications:

Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations within a fast paced, public company environment
Experience in both law firm and in-house corporate legal environment
Experience and familiarity with renewable energy contracts and the Inflation Reduction Act and its requirements
Excellent judgment and analytical skills
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to develop legal strategies and objectives
Creative problem-solving ability
