When Filled Additional Information: Show/Hide - Work with site-based personnel to ensure daily cleaning tasks are performed.
- Maintain and use janitorial equipment safely and properly, following instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms.
- Dust and clean hard surfaces.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors � including stairs, hallways, and commons areas.
- Clean and vacuum carpets.
- Empty all trash receptacles, replace liners, and place trash in the dumpster.
- Wipe down doors and clean glass if applicable.
- Respond to calls for facilities emergency and on-call situations as directed.
- Support laundry facility function.
- Periodic special facility team projects.
- Restock supplies.
- Performs other functions as assigned to ensure effective, safe, and smooth school operations.
- Proven experience in facilities janitorial solutions, preferably in an educational and/or commercial setting.
- Keen eye for detail.

The School Facilities Technician is a full-time, non-exempt salaried position with a 12-month work schedule, beginning July 1. Working hours for this position are 2:00pm-10:00pm, subject to change on an as-needed basis at the school's discretion. The School Facilities Technician will report to the Director of Facilities and Safety.
Position Overview
The School Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and functional learning environment for students, staff, and visitors to a dedicated CLASSICAL school campus. The ideal candidate is highly dependable, committed to on-site support for general facility operations, and able to provide cleaning services to the highest standard with a qualified, skilled team. A qualified candidate will have experience in school and/or commercial cleaning.

Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
