What you will be doing?

 

This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently pursuing a proposal and are seeking qualified candidates to include in our submission and identify candidates for future hiring needs on the program once awarded.

  • Core Knowledge & Skills: Optimizes complex SQL; applies advanced data modeling; leads robust ETL/ELT; uses big data technologies (e.g., Spark); enforces governance; implements ML/predictive solutions; manages scalable pipelines.

  • Work & Complexity: Solves high-complexity integration and performance challenges; runs multiple projects; delivers custom analytics solutions and automation for scale.

  • Quality & Independence: Sets benchmarks for data quality; drives continuous improvement; makes significant technical decisions with minimal oversight.

  • Teamwork & Communication: Leads cross-functional work; mentors engineers; communicates complex insights to senior leaders; integrates multi-stakeholder feedback.

  • Consulting & Engagement: Provides strategic consultation, leads client interactions, and advances consulting best practices.

As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Microsoft Fabric Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Level 2 and Level 3 support/development as indicated in Tab 3.0.

  • Design Fabric workspace strategy (Dev/Test/Prod)

  • Build and manage Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake

  • Implement data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory

  • Manage Fabric capacity and performance

  • Enforce data governance and access controls

  • Support L3 data platform incidents

Required For This Opportunity

  • Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines)

  • Power BI semantic models

  • DataOps & analytics engineering

  • Azure integration experience
