Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your Minuteman III (MMIII) weapons system expertise and strategic planning skills to supply chain risk management and the resolution of complex supply issues, such as parts obsolescence. Serving as the chief weapons system advisor to the lead program manager, you will analyze various supply data sources to identify risks and impacts to the MMIII weapons system.
You will collaborate with an experienced team of supply, obsolescence, and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) experts, utilizing state-of-the-art data and analysis tools to identify vendor risks and develop mitigation strategies. In this role, you will provide vital insights derived from your expertise in MMIII weapon systems and logistics processes to support analytical efforts. Additionally, you will coordinate supply-related analyses with government MMIII Sustainment Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), the Supply Chain and Requirements Office, the Defense Logistics Agency, the 414th Supply Chain Management Squadron, missile wings, and repair depots

Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant work experience.
- 10 years of MMIII maintenance experience (missile mechanical, electro-mechanical, Maintenance Operations Control Center, Materiel Control, or a combination thereof).
- Working knowledge of parts Deficiency Reporting, as well as Engineering and Maintenance Assistance Request processes.
- Working knowledge of the Air Force Risk Management process.
- Proficiency in IMDS and REMIS data systems, as well as MMIII Technical Data and Technical Orders.
- Proficiency in the MS 365 suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
- Ability to develop briefings and position papers, and deliver coherent, impactful presentations to stakeholders.
- Ability to work with, inspire, and coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills and Education

- Advanced expertise in IMDS, REMIS, FedMall, BLADE, ILS-S, and related data systems, as well as MMIII Technical Data and Technical Orders.
- Working knowledge of the Air Force Risk Management process and parts Deficiency Reporting, including Engineering and Maintenance Assistance Request processes.
- Proven ability to develop professional briefings and position papers, deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders, and inspire coordination across cross-functional teams.
