Mechanical Assembler 



Regular Position, Full Time 



Sacramento, CA

Requirements 



We are searching for a candidate with: 





  • Experience with hand tools such as power screwdrivers, hammer, drills and saws 







  • Experience with electronic and pneumatic tooling 







  • Forklift and pallet jack certification, or the ability to become certified 







  • Ability to load, unload and drive company vehicles safely 







  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines 







  • Attention to detail 







  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions 







  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures 







  • Ability to lift and handle objects up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation, as required 







  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and cycle counting 







  • Familiarity with schematic diagrams is a plus 







  • Electrical experience is a plus 





 



Duties and Responsibilities 



A typical day may include:   





  • Assisting in setting up new building production floor under the supervision of the team lead 







  • Using proper PPE as required 







  • Assembling mechanical parts, components, and systems following engineering drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions. 







  • Inspecting components and assemblies for defects and ensure they meet quality standards 







  • Performing functional tests to verify proper assembly and operation of assemblies 







  • Providing input to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality 







  • Using hand tools and power tools to disassemble and assemble equipment, shelving, material pallets, etc 







  • Using forklift and/or pallet jack, as needed 







  • Mounting panel components on sub-plates 







  • Installing controller components in steel enclosures using hand tools 







  • Other duties as assigned
