POSITION:  HSU Workstudy Maintenance *Applicant Pool

DEPARTMENT:  Maintenance

SUPERVISOR TITLE:  Director of Campus Operations

FLSA STATUS:  Non-Exempt

EXEMPTION:  N/A

LOCATION:  Abilene

TARGET HIRE DATE:  1/12/2026

SUMMARY/SCOPE: May work in any area of Maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Including
assisting a Maintenance Technician with HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting
and Grounds/Properties. 

May
also assist in room set-ups and furniture moving as well as any other duties
required by the University.

Facilities:
may include room set-ups and tear downs, athletic events, moving furniture,
Summer Camps, and all other needs of the University.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Current Student at HSU

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Push,
pull and lifting may be necessary for some job duties.

Occasional
lifting may be required. 

Reasonable
