    Head 7th Grade Boys Basketball Coach to begin in the 2026-27 school year

    Stipend = $3,076 (2025-26 school year)

     

    BMS Coaching qualifications:

    BMS coaches must demonstrate an understanding of the full range of physical and social/emotional needs of our middle school student athletes.  They should consistently display a personal manner and a professional skill set that would inspire participation and build the confidence and skill necessary for all players to improve as both students and athletes.

     

    Qualifications for this position:

    • Must have or be able to obtain an Iowa Coaching license.
    • Must be able to be at Bettendorf Middle School by 3:00 pm to lead practice.

     

    Responsibilities of this position:

    • Plan and lead practices and team activities designed to develop your student athletes.
    • Monitor the academic progress of your student athletes and adhere to the school's eligibility guidelines.
    • Supervise the locker room before and after all practices and games.
    • Keep track of all equipment issued and help put away at the end of season.

     

     

    Eligibility: Applicants must have valid U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or an active work visa.
    Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
