Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Procure raw materials including chemicals, resins, pigments, additives, and related inputs used in coatings manufacturing
- Develop and maintain relationships with qualified suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliable supply
- Monitor market conditions, lead times, and supplier performance to minimize risk and cost volatility
- Support sourcing strategies for multi-site manufacturing operations
Purchase Order Management
- Create, issue, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system
- Ensure accuracy of pricing, quantities, lead times, and delivery locations
- Track open POs, expedite when necessary, and resolve discrepancies with vendors
Inventory Management
- Manage raw material inventory levels across three locations to support production while minimizing excess and obsolescence
- Coordinate with Planning, Production, and Warehouse teams to align purchasing with demand forecasts
- Perform inventory analysis and support cycle counts and reconciliations as required
Receiving & ERP Transactions
- Ensure materials are properly received into the ERP system
- Resolve receiving issues related to quantity, quality, or documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Finance to support formulation changes, new product introductions, and cost controls
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement, inventory turns, and supplier performance
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure suppliers meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements applicable to chemical and coatings manufacturing
- Maintain appropriate documentation for materials, including specifications and supplier records
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a coatings, paint, chemical, or related manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of raw materials used in coatings or chemical manufacturing
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations
- Proficiency using ERP systems for purchasing, receiving, and inventory management
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred
- Familiarity with chemical supply markets and vendor networks
- Experience with inventory optimization and demand-driven purchasing
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

The base salary anticipated is $70,000 - $90,000 per year for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, actual compensation may vary and will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to, the applicant’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors. Isolatek International reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on company and personal performance.
