- The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for recruiting and enrolling freshmen, transfer, and re-admit students.
Job Description
- Graduate Ambassadors serve as the front-line of customer service for all prospective students and families. These students maintain a thorough knowledge of the university and will develop professional skills in communication, time management, and personal responsibility.
Job Location/ Hours Required
The candidate will perform most/all job duties on campus. Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with members of the Admissions team
- Provides a consistent tour experience for Admissions guests 2-5 times on average per week based on availability
- Assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere on campus during admissions events and daily tours
- Provides comprehensive customer service to exceed visitors’ expectations
- Maintains positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with co-workers, supervisors and other members of the HPU Community
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Required

- Customer service experience desired
- Ability to provide unmatched customer service to HPU guests
- Ability to communicate in a positive manner
- Ability to focus on details and prioritize
- Ability to work special events which may include evenings and/or weekends
- Proficiency with Microsoft products and general current technology
