About Seattle Pacific Seminary

Seattle Pacific Seminary is a workshop of the Holy Spirit that exists to pursue the knowledge of the Triune God for the deepening of the church’s worship and the strengthening of its love for the least of these. Rooted in the Wesleyan tradition, the Seminary seeks to educate, equip, and empower students to participate in the reconciling work of Christ for the renewal of the church and the life of the world.

Through rigorous theological study, spiritual formation, and practical engagement, the Seminary prepares students for faithful service in pastoral ministry, nonprofit leadership, chaplaincy, and other expressions of Christian vocation. Our community values intellectual inquiry, spiritual vitality, and a deep commitment to justice and reconciliation in the world.
