Job Description
Overview:

As a Pharma Tele-sales representative with Valeris, you will be responsible for calling on healthcare providers nationwide in your territory, providing samples, copay cards, disease state education and other product messaging.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through targeted contact lists
  • Manage, track and follow up with targets
  • Meet monthly goals in accordance to the project management plan
  • Update customer files and databases
  • Provide point of contact for sales territories without outside rep coverage
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
  • Log and archive documentation and customer communication in CRM
  • Support and ensure compliance with company and FDA guidelines


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: (these are non-negotiable)

At least 1 year of work experience in sales or healthcare/pharma industry. Inside sales experience including prospecting and closing skills will also help a candidate stand out. Extensive computer experience and comfort level dealing with troubleshooting are a must for this position. The ability to multi-task and work within multiple computer systems simultaneously is required.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills-the ability to quickly learn pharmaceutical information, terms and pronunciations
  • Self-starter who can work independently to achieve metrics and drive sales.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity working in CRM systems, data entry, documentation of office communications, compliance and adverse event reporting
  • Ability to build rapport and long- lasting relationships with office staff and HCPs
  • Ability to follow a call guideline while establishing open communication with different levels of office staff, including HCPs
  • Proficiency at listening and problem solving while delivering messaging
  • Team player who strives to expand knowledge base and assist others
