Position Overview:

As a Utility Worker at Federal Donuts & Chicken, you will be a vital part of the team by helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen and dining area. You will support the kitchen staff, keep the restaurant clean and sanitized, and ensure all supplies are stocked and ready to go. Your role ensures that the restaurant runs smoothly behind the scenes, providing a safe and comfortable environment for both customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Sanitation: Perform cleaning duties such as washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, wiping down surfaces, and sweeping/mopping floors.
• Kitchen Support: Assist kitchen staff with prepping ingredients, organizing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in workstations.
• Stocking: Replenish inventory and ensure that all necessary supplies (e.g., napkins, condiments, cleaning materials) are well-stocked and easily accessible.
• Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a steady flow of clean dishes, utensils, and cookware for the kitchen and service areas.
• Trash & Recycling: Properly dispose of waste and maintain trash and recycling areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene protocols, ensuring the restaurant is compliant with local health regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Assist team members as needed to keep the restaurant operating efficiently, ensuring food prep, service, and cleanup are completed in a timely manner.
• General Maintenance: Assist with the upkeep of the dining area, restrooms, and exterior of the restaurant, ensuring the environment is welcoming to customers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a utility, cleaning, or kitchen support role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and organization.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
