IT Operations Advanced Engineer
What you’ll do:
Incident & Request Management
Monitor, attend, follow up, and close local incidents and service requests in alignment with ServiceDesk KPIs.
Ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues affecting local infrastructure performance.
Project & Task Execution
Manage, follow up, and close assigned local, divisional, and global IT projects or tasks.
Coordinate planned activities with the Local IT Supervisor and ensure project deliverables are met.
Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance
Maintain the smooth operation of the Local Area Network (LAN).
Monitor all local infrastructure components using available monitoring tools.
Coordinate third‑party maintenance for hardware, software, or network components.
Manage the infrastructure lifecycle, ensuring appropriate upgrades and replacements.
Installation, Configuration & Optimization
Plan, evaluate, and coordinate the installation and configuration of hardware, software, and network equipment.
Implement solutions based on current needs and future growth to optimize performance and cost.
Maintain updated network site documentation at all times.
Reporting & Documentation
Create and deliver weekly and monthly infrastructure KPI reports.
Develop and track action registers when required, ensuring timely closure of items.
Maintain documentation required for audits, compliance, and operational continuity.
Budget & Disaster Recovery
Manage the local IT budget related to infrastructure needs.
Oversee and maintain the Local Disaster Recovery Plan, ensuring readiness and alignment with company policies.
What is required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
IT knowledge and hands‑on experience with:
Server and storage devices
Network devices
Windows Operating System
Desktop and laptop hardware
Barcode and laser printers
Handheld devices
Wired and wireless network configuration
Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT Infrastructure–related position.
Minimum B2 English level (spoken and written).
Strong customer service orientation and problem‑solving skills.
Valid visa for occasional travel if required.
Willingness to work 100% on‑site.
Willingness to work off‑hours when needed (maintenance, upgrades, emergencies) (extra hours paid).
