Work Experience Description:

Designed for students with substantial experience and advanced skills, such as multiple internships, leadership roles, or specialized training. Best suited for upper-level juniors or seniors with strong practical experience and expertise in their field.

Job Summary: 

 

Utilizes basic IT knowledge to analyze, debug, test, and modify the configuration of technology-related products, internet applications, and information support systems. Create new and modify existing documentation and procedures, training materials, tutorials, and reports. Provides assistance and training for end-users. 

Overview of Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provides technical support and basic system troubleshooting 

  • Assists in writing new financial aid reports in the system, modifying current reports, dashboards and announcements for home page and workday applications 

  • Provides support in testing new Workday features and testing business process configurations for Workday Student Financial Aid and Workday Student Financials 

  • Assists in maintaining existing and developing new video tutorials and training materials, and quick reference guides 

  • Provides training and assistance for campus end-users with accessing financial aid data, running reports, and financial aid applications in the Workday system. 

  • Assists with process documentations, web updates, department policy updates, Monday.com board management, and department canvas training 

  • Analyzes current workflows and collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify system and process improvements 

  • Supports in identifying opportunities for automation and solutions to streamline manual processes 

  • Performs other duties as assigned 

Skills & Personal Attributes:  

  • General knowledge of Financial Aid processes and business concepts and systems is preferred. 

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills, communication skills both verbal and written, and time management 

  • Proficiency with data and content creation applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Teams, and PowerPoint, as well as Canvas, ScreenPal, Speechify, Adobe Express, Adobe Premier Pro and Monday.com is helpful. 

  • Familiarity or experience with Brightspot or other web authoring tools is preferred. 

  • Highly organized, attentive to details, and forward-thinking. 

  • Project management skills are also helpful.
