GUEST SERVICE ASSOCIATE

The Olive Basin Shop – Kitchen Kettle Village

 

Intercourse, Pa | Part-time | $14 /hour

Kitchen Kettle Village is looking for energetic, guestfocused individuals with a passion for food retail (preferably oils, vinegars, and gourmet foods). This active role includes being on your feet for the entire shift and meeting physical job requirements. Responsibilities include operating the register, conducting product demos and sampling, and restocking the sales floor. Friendly, teamoriented candidates who enjoy interacting with guests will thrive in this position.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment, including greeting, and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Remain on the sales floor 90% of the time-sharing product knowledge and use ideas in various positions within the shop including sample/demo areas.
  • Accurately handle all forms of money transactions and wrap/bag guest purchases.
  • Open and/or close registers as needed.
  • Price and set up merchandise displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
  • Obtain merchandise throughout the store, requested by guests.
  • Answer guest questions concerning location, price, and use of products.
  • Monitor and assist with periodic merchandise inventories.
  • Keep the shop and merchandise clean and orderly.
  • All other related duties as required and assigned.
