Job Summary:

Henderson Nursing and Senior Living Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a valued member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care to our residents, while promoting a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans

• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians

• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff and physicians

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare team members

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

• Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care and treatments

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of North Carolina

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Practical Nursing program or equivalent education and training

• Previous experience in long-term care or gerontological nursing a plus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
