We are
currently seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join
our team at ETI. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanic
who possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, advanced diagnostics abilities,
and the ability to lead and mentor a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of
    heavy equipment mechanics, providing guidance and support to ensure
    efficient workflow and high-quality repairs.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics,
    troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, including scrapers,
    dozers, excavators ect..].
  • Develop and implement maintenance
    schedules, ensuring timely servicing and minimizing equipment downtime.
  • Collaborate with other
    departments and stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues,
    ensuring smooth operations.
  • Train and mentor junior
    mechanics, providing guidance on complex repairs, diagnostics techniques,
    and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs,
    parts inventory, and maintenance activities.
  • Stay updated on industry
    advancements, new technologies, and equipment specifications.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or
    equivalent; technical training or certification in heavy equipment
    mechanics is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a lead
    mechanic or in a similar supervisory role within the heavy equipment
    industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and
    analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues
    and develop effective repair solutions.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic
    equipment, tools, and software relevant to heavy equipment diagnostics.
  • Excellent leadership and
    communication skills, with the ability to effectively delegate tasks and
    provide guidance to the team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work
    independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and
    procedures related to heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license with a
    clean driving record.
