Job Description

Empath Health is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior HR Business Partner (SHRBP) to serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to leadership across multiple service lines and business units. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and a positive colleague experience aligned with Empath Health’s mission of delivering extraordinary Full Life Care.

The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, deep HR expertise, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping culture, leading through change, and delivering high-impact HR solutions within a mission-driven healthcare environment.

This is a hybrid position, and candidates must reside within commuting distance of the Tampa Bay and/or Sarasota-Bradenton area.

What you'll Do

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and business initiatives
  • Lead and support complex colleague relations matters, including investigations, coaching, and performance management
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop data-driven solutions that improve engagement, retention, and performance
  • Drive change management efforts and support leaders through organizational and cultural transformations
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development) to deliver integrated HR solutions
  • Build strong relationships with leaders and colleagues to enhance engagement, strengthen culture, and support operational effectiveness

What You'll Need

  • 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partnering or senior HR generalist experience
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred, with knowledge of clinical and/or multi-site environments
  • Hands-on experience with Workday (or similar HCM system), including reporting and data analysis
  • Demonstrated expertise across core HR disciplines including employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate HR strategy into actionable business outcomes
  • Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
