Description

We’re hiring a Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor to lead Amazon fulfillment operations in our Sioux Falls facility. This hands-on role focuses on team leadership, shipment execution, and driving efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.


Position Overview

The Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Amazon (FBA) fulfillment operations, ensuring shipments are executed efficiently, accurately, and on time. This role drives daily production, inventory flow, and team performance to maintain in-stock levels at Amazon fulfillment centers.

You will lead a small team, monitor key performance metrics, and identify opportunities to improve workflow, accuracy, and overall throughput.


Key Responsibilities

FBA Operations & Execution

  • Oversee the creation, management, and execution of FBA shipments through Amazon Seller Central
  • Ensure all Amazon requirements (labeling, prep, packaging, routing) are followed consistently
  • Monitor shipment timelines to maintain in-stock levels and prevent stockouts
  • Troubleshoot shipment delays, errors, and compliance issues
  • Coordinate with receiving, inventory, and fulfillment teams to ensure product readiness

Inventory & Accuracy

  • Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies
  • Ensure accurate product identification, counts, and staging
  • Partner with inventory control to maintain system accuracy and alignment

Team Leadership & Productivity

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse associates (approximately 3 team members)
  • Set clear expectations and maintain accountability to performance standards
  • Track and report productivity metrics (units per hour, error rates, throughput)
  • Support hiring and training efforts
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain reporting related to shipments, freight, and productivity
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping

Safety & Equipment

  • Promote and enforce all warehouse safety procedures and standards
  • Support safe operation and training on warehouse equipment

Requirements

Required

  • 3+ years of warehouse or fulfillment experience
  • 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience with inventory systems or warehouse management systems
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn and navigate Amazon Seller Central
  • Willingness to become certified on warehouse equipment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform team lifts for heavier items
  • Ability to bend, reach, climb, and operate warehouse equipment safely

Preferred

  • Experience with Amazon FBA operations
  • Experience in a high-volume fulfillment or 3PL environment
  • Experience with data tracking, reporting, or process improvement
