Job Description

Sapiens is on the lookout for a Junior .Net Developer to join our development and support teams in Latvia. If you're a seasoned professional and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.


Working Model: Our flexible work arrangement combines both remote and in-office work, optimizing flexibility and productivity. This position will be part of Sapiens’ IPELS division.


 


About the Job:


Our development and support teams in Latvia are delivering both new features and projects based on new modern such as ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebAPI, .NET Core, Electron, and React, meanwhile supporting the base platform on ASP.NET WebForms with MS SQL database (ADO.NET) and jQuery/Bootstrap/Webpack in Front-end. Our customer values the quality of our services and to keep it on a high level, we are looking for experienced developers to join our team. 


Tasks include: 



  • Development of Sapiens projects and products through the entire software development lifecycle (initiation, coding, testing, delivery, support).

  • Meeting timeline and quality objectives.

  • Implement development tasks.

  • Interact with Team leads and QAs and customer in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.


What to Have for this position:



  • Knowledge of OOP.

  • 2 years of experience in software development (C#, HTML/JS/CSS, MS SQL)

  • Experience working in Agile environment.

  • Good communication skills, good written and spoken English.

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.

  • An open mind to new approaches and technologies.

  • Result-driven personality.


Good-to-Have Skills:



  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (ReactJS, Bootstrap)

  • Experience with Git, advanced branching, pull requests

  • Experience with MSBuild and PowerShell

  • Knowledge of insurance.
