Sandstone of Tucson is seeking an experienced and motivated Long-Term Care / Infection Preventionist (LTC/IP) Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN) to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about quality care, staff leadership, and maintaining the highest standards in infection prevention and control.

Position Type: Full-Time
Setting: Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily nursing operations and support clinical staff

• Lead and monitor infection prevention and control programs

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

• Conduct audits, staff education, and infection tracking/reporting

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident safety and quality outcomes

• Assist with staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management

   

Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license (Arizona)

• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing

• Infection Prevention experience preferred (IP certification a plus)

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of infection control standards and regulatory requirements
