Job Description

Reports To: Morsy Said, PE Principal & Executive Vice President

Position Title: Inspector Location: NY Office Project Locations will include work at the 26th Ward, Coney Island, Jamaica, Owls Head and Rockaway WWRFs, including all associated pump stations and Combined Sewage Overflow ("CSO") facilities in their drainage areas (Field Office is in Brooklyn)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $65-$70

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Position Overview

Inspector is responsible for providing inspection services for multiple Wastewater Treatment Facilities including all associated pump stations and Combined Sewage Overflow ("CSO") facilities in their drainage areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection services for various NYCDEP Wastewater Treatment Plants that may include: Plumbing (Mechanical), General Construction (Structural), Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Electrical (including Instrumentation) trades.
  • Perform daily on-site inspections of construction activities to ensure adherence to the project schedule, plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Prepare and maintain daily construction inspection reports documenting work performed, contractor labor and equipment, quantity of material received and verified, observed issues, and contractor activities.
  • Identify unsafe conditions, code violations, and site hazards; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
