The Barre Unified Union School District is seeking a Coordinator of Early Education to provide leadership to and oversight of the Early Education Programs at both Barre City and Barre Town schools. The Coordinator also serves as the Act 166 Designee for the Barre Unified Union School District. This position coordinates the Early Education Programs administratively and financially, along with central office and building administrators, and assists all staff in implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Coordinator of Early Education must hold a valid Vermont teaching license with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education.
- The Coordinator is preferred to also hold an endorsement as a Director of Special Education or Principal. Additionally, the successful completion of nine (9) college credits in program management, staff, supervision, administration, or human resource management is preferred.
- The Coordinator must have knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP, NAEYC), Vermont’s Early Learning Standards (VELS), Vermont’s Early Childhood Licensing Regulations, Vermont’s STep Ahead Recognition System (STARs), Vermont Agency of Education’s Special Education and Early Childhood Special Education regulations, and Vermont’s Act 166 Universal Prekindergarten Education law.
