The Inventory Specialist Assistant supports the company’s inventory operations by assisting with tracking, organizing, and maintaining accurate records of materials, tools, and equipment. This role works under the supervision of the Inventory Specialist or Warehouse Manager to ensure that inventory processes run smoothly and that field and office teams receive the equipment and supplies they need in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments.

Support inventory counts, cycle audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.

Help organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas for efficiency and safety.

Prepare and issue materials, tools, and equipment to staff, ensuring proper documentation.

Assist with tracking inventory usage and restocking commonly used items.

Help prepare reports on inventory levels, shortages, and equipment movement.

Coordinate with the Inventory Specialist on returns, repairs, and vendor communications.

Perform general clerical tasks related to inventory management (filing, data entry, updating records).
