Job brief description 

The Nurturing Families Coordinator provides support for center-based programs and oversight for implementation of disabilities services and the day treatment program.  The position works closely with parents, students, teachers, clinicians, and behavior aides. The NF will enact as leadership, assisting to coordinate client service delivery. We are a mission-driven non-profit providing behavioral health, mental health services, and educational support services. 

Program Manager Job Responsibilities: 

• Develop strong relationships with educational coordinator, Lead BCBA, and NF Lead Therapist, clinical supervisors, parents, & parent organizations in order to provide the best care and ensure customer satisfaction  

• Provide assistance with supervision, leadership, and management of behavior aides, including assisting with hiring, center onboarding, and training and compliance of center employees. 

* Perform as group lead, following a curriculum, modeling positive client engagement. 

• Maintain excellent communication with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel, case managers, including implementation of monthly internal-agency and external-family newsletters 

• Manage and order supplies, as needed. 

• Answer phone, schedule tours, provide information to community inquiries 

• Maintain attendance and billing schedules for group clients; Oversee center-based employee and client records. Advertise and maintain client roster and staff scheduling for various center-based programs. 

• Facilitate center program intakes, and pre-authorization procedures and paperwork. 

• Respond to serious events, with support of Executive Director and Clinical Director 

• Meet and report regularly with ABA Manager, Educational Manager, Lead Therapist. 

 

 

Program Manager Requirements 

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills  

• Strong group engagement skills with the ability to use and model appropriate positive discipline  

• Works well in a team environment  

• A passion and drive that inspire a love for learning & the ability to engage children in therapeutic and learning activities in a fun and interactive way  

• Respect for and dedication to working with our students and clients 

• 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities  

• Bachelor's degree or higher or year for year experience to education substitute.  

• Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB  

 

Immediate Managers: Executive Director & Clinical Director 

Reportees: Teachers, behavior aides, interns as appropriate 

 

Schedule:  

30 hours weekly, with opportunity for more! 

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12pm – 8pm 

Tuesday & Thursday, flexible
