The Team

Our Marketing team is the creative engine that drives brand consistency and compelling communication for Axis in Japan. We produce a wide array of media for online and offline channels, including videos, collateral, newsletters, and web content, and we are the organizers behind major events like conferences, tradeshows, and pivotal customer visits at our state-of-the-art Axis Experience Center (AEC). We are looking for an experienced and dynamic marketing professional to join our team and champion our engagement strategy.

This position is based in Tokyo, Japan.
 

What you’ll do here

As the Marketing & Experience Center Manager, you will be the central hub for our physical and digital marketing efforts. Your mission is to create unforgettable customer experiences that generate and nurture leads, showcase our innovative products, and drive business growth. While the Axis Experience Center is your primary stage, your influence will extend across our entire marketing landscape.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Axis Experience Center (AEC) Management: Flawlessly plan and coordinate all visits, tours, and meetings at the AEC, acting as a key point of contact for hosts and guests to ensure a world-class experience. Maintain the exhibition environment, including product replacement, maintenance, and operational checks.
  • AEC Operational Efficiency: Ownership of the exhibition environment, including product replacement, maintenance, and operational checks with support from Sales Engineer team.
  • Event Management: Own the strategy and execution for key marketing events, from not only events at the AEC, but also tradeshows, conferences and bespoke customer workshops, ensuring they meet strategic goals.
  • Content & Campaign Strategy: Ensure all content within the AEC and used in marketing campaigns, such as presentations, videos, and demos, is compelling, up-to-date, and aligned with our product marketing objectives.
  • Lead Management: Implement and oversee processes to capture, qualify, and nurture leads generated from the AEC, events, and other marketing activities, utilizing our CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Digital Channel Management: Contribute to our online presence by managing website content related to events and the AEC, and leveraging social media to promote our activities and engage our community.
  • Data-Driven Improvement: Gather statistics and analysed data from all activities to measure ROI, optimize content, refine the customer journey, and continuously improve our marketing programs
     

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a rare blend of logical planner and creative marketer. You have a proven track record in product marketing and channel management, and you are passionate about bringing products and solutions to life. You understand how to connect marketing activities directly to business results and thrive in a role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Additionally, knowledge and experience in network products in IT company are desirable.

We believe you possess:

  • Experience in product marketing within the IT channel preferred
  • IT experience or knowledge in networking, IP-based technologies, cloud technologies and applications, network infrastructure (TCP/IP), software and hardware technology are an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience in event managementlead management, and using marketing automation tools (e.g., Pardot, Marketo) and CRM systems.
  • A strong background that includes website management and professional social media management.
  • A genuine passion for technology, with the ability to quickly grasp the value of our products and solutions and articulate them to diverse audiences.
  • A highly organized, multi-tasking mindset, with the ability to manage complex projects from start to finish.
  • An outgoing, people-focused personality with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and customers.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential.
  • 10 years of professional experience, of which at least 5 years has been in event management or project management

As this role is at the heart of our customer engagement, you will occasionally be required to work flexible hours to support events and key meetings.
