Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our educational team as a Substitute Teacher. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring that students receive quality instruction in the absence of their regular teacher. You will implement lesson plans, manage classroom behavior, and support students' educational needs, fostering a safe and engaging atmosphere conducive to learning.

Responsibilities
- Follow and implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a respectful and productive learning environment.
- Engage students in learning activities and encourage participation in discussions.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding academic and behavioral concerns.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional periods as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
- Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and orderly environment for all students.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
