What You’ll Do
The Intern is provided with the opportunity to gain work experience particularly in the risk and legal department, but also an opportunity to gain experience across a number of departmental processes, including, but not limited to compliance, finance, etc., in order to develop specific experience as it relates to the role being pursued. This is accomplished, in part, through the assignment and acceptance of projects that are beneficial to the experience and assessment of the caregiver's skills. Projects may be assigned both from fellow caregivers, as well as leadership. The position is responsible for: 1) the execution and completion of projects assigned to the role; 2) assisting other caregivers related to their ongoing assignments and projects; 3) serving as a resource to other organizational members; and 4) consulting with supervisors and staff as needed. This position has no direct patient care contact, has access to confidential employee/organizational information and will function as a business partner in collaboration with other department and organizational members. Minimum Qualifications Required Educational Degree: At a minimum, must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree Major/Area of Concentration: Pre-Law or Law Preferred Education: Actively pursuing a Juris Doctorate Degree Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Preferred Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Required Experience: Preferred Experience: Prior legal internship or clerkshi
