Job Description

Position Specifics:

Reports To:  Parts Manager

Supervises:  None

FLSA Code:  Nonexempt

                                                                 

Purpose: 

Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories.   In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties.  

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
  2. Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
  3. Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
  4. Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
  5. Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
  6. Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
  7. Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
  8. Additional duties assigned as needed

  

Job Requirements:

  1. Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
  2. Basic parts and machinery knowledge
  3. Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application
  4. Ability to work in a team environment
  5. Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  6. High School diploma or equivalent experience
  7. Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  8. Must maintain a good driving record in compliance with company Motor Vehicle Records criteria throughout employment
  9. Flexible work schedule is a requirement

Pay Information:

The hourly pay range for this position is $18 to $25. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base hourly wage for this role. Based on factor such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.


In Season Hours : Monday-Friday 7am-5pm , Saturday 7am-12pm (rotation)
Off Season/Winter Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
*Off season hours are from November-March. Start and end date to winter hours is dependent on year and subject to change.*
