Qualifications:
Education & Credentials:
High School diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years’ experience in marine crewing operations or Associate/Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
1 year working in the maritime industry required. 1-3 years of experience in marine crewing operations preferred. Experience in a high-paced, detail-oriented role requiring attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills considered.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in:
· Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
· Filenet
· NS5
· Oracle / HR systems
· Medical / DOT systems
· Union web portals
· USCG web portals
Competencies:
· Ability to multi-task
· Ability to solve problems
· Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and verbally
· Ability to apply skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving, and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives
· Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope
· Must be available/on-call after hours for emergency crew requests
· May require travel to multiple locations
