$80,169-$95,461/year
Compensation is determined by several factors, including location, relevant experience, skill level, and internal equity. Please note, we don’t typically hire above midpoint.

Job Description
The Resource Planning Analyst is responsible for providing detailed insight and solutions for staff planning and controls. As an individual contributor, this role utilizes discretion and independent judgement in their analysis and guides recommendations to improve the financial planning and oversight of staffing and productivity throughout the organization. The Resource Planning Analyst maintains a consistent focus on staffing resources and cost-saving controls to deliver a superior level of customer service standards and the promotion of McGee Air Services core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Takes initiative using discretion and independent judgement to develop solutions and prepare staffing related financial analyses and reporting to support all McGee stations.
- Apply financial acumen and business knowledge to develop and improve models to support staffing activities (e.g., labor reports and productivity forecasts, etc.).
- Leads staff forecasting, cost control, budget preparation, variance research, and other ad hoc projects and prepares recommendations to stakeholders and owners.
- With limited direction from manager, work independently to innovate and problem solve, implement projects, provide insights, drive change, and influence the organization.
- Analyzes the financial performance data for staffing to draw business conclusions and proposes action plans to improve productivity.
- Gains a deep understanding of the front-line work that they are analyzing, through station visits and strong communication with the station leaders that they support.

- Performs other duties as assigned to support McGee’s successful business operation.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 2+ year of relevant experience in operations management, forecasting and modeling staffing needs, or workforce analytics.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance fundamentals.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and databases in general, including experience with a variety of Excel's math functions and pivot tables.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and an ability to explain complex concepts to division leadership.
- Positive, team-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic environment with flexibility to assist with special projects during high demand periods.
- Ability to exercise good judgement, attention to detail, and analytical acumen for problem solving in daily activities and analysis.
- Demonstrates initiative with the ability to independently prioritize tasks, manage workload effectively, and take full ownership of responsibilities.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to visit McGee Stations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance(s) as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
- Experience using Inform GroundStar Planning, Inform RealTime Staff, and/or comparable resource planning and workforce assignment software.
- Aviation, Transportation, or related industry experience
Airport Badge Requirements
Important notification for roles working at or requiring access to an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge issued by the airport authority. Depending on the role you may also be required to obtain a US Customs seal and/or USPS security clearance. If an employee does not qualify for or has the necessary clearance revoked, the employee will be terminated.
