Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a commercial property with an active construction area in Denver. This role supports daily site operations by helping maintain a safe, controlled, and organized environment during business hours.
The position involves moving throughout the property, keeping track of site activity, and monitoring access points. It is a good fit for someone who stays aware of their surroundings, follows direction well, and is comfortable working around both staff and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol interior spaces, exterior grounds, and active construction zones
- Monitor access points and confirm proper authorization before entry
- Watch for safety concerns, hazards, or unusual activity
- Respond to incidents based on site guidelines and company procedures
- Complete daily reports and document incidents clearly and accurately
- Communicate updates or concerns with supervisors and site contacts
- Maintain a professional appearance while on duty
- Follow all assigned post orders and site-specific instructions
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to pass background screening in line with state requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Able to work independently and stay focused throughout the shift
Preferred Experience
- Background in security, patrol, or construction site environments
- Experience with report writing or basic documentation
