Job Description

Position Overview:

The SafetyNet Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the services of the program are maintained in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. The SafetyNet Supervisor will oversee the coordination of domestic violence, and child abuse and neglect services to victims of domestic violence and their children. This includes, but is not limited to daily operations; fiscal management; staffing and the provision of a safe and caring therapeutic environment.

 

Here’s what the job involves:

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and clinical support to staff and independent contractors serving victims of family violence and families in need of support services.

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development for assigned team members, interns, and volunteers.

  • Conduct mental health, safety, and risk assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate service plans.

  • Oversee intake, safety planning, biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and discharge coordination for clients and families.

  • Ensure delivery of individual, group, and family counseling services, crisis intervention, and intensive case management.

  • Advocate for clients within the court system and collaborate with community partners to strengthen safety and long-term stability.

  • Monitor case documentation, reporting, and program records to ensure compliance with agency, licensing, and contractual standards.

  • Build community partnerships and support program growth through collaboration, resource development, and quality improvement efforts.
