Job Description

Position:

·         teach a 4/4 load (typically 12 credit hours per semester) of undergraduate Physics and occasionally Mathematics courses as program needs require;

·         advise undergraduate students;

·         participate actively in course and curriculum development;

·         contribute to the development and expansion of Physics offerings in support of emerging Engineering programs;

·         maintain an active program of scholarly and professional activity appropriate to a teaching-focused institution;

·         perform college, professional, and appropriate community service activities;

·         teach and mentor a diverse, largely first-generation student population with varying levels of academic preparation, using evidence-based and inclusive instructional approaches.
