The Molding Associate I is an entry-level production role responsible for silicon injection molding machines operation to produce high-quality components. This role focuses on learning the injection molding process, following standard procedures, and supporting production efficiency while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Third shift Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am
Third shift Operators receive a +$2.00 shift differential in addition to their hourly base pay for working this shift

Responsibilities
Operate injection molding machines under supervision to produce molded components according to specifications
Load raw materials, monitor machine cycles, and ensure molds are properly prepared
Conduct basic in-process checks using gauges or calipers, reporting any issues to a Lead or Operator II
Identify and report obvious molding defects (e.g., flash, short shots, burns) to a supervisor
Assist with material changes, purging, and housekeeping of molding equipment
Record production data, scrap, and downtime as directed
Follow all safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Participate in training and skill development to progress to higher-level roles
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Manufacturing experience preferred
No prior injection molding experience required; training provided on the job
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a team environment
Basic computer/data entry skills a plus
Reliable transportation required (location not accessible by public transit)
Ability to read, write, and understand basic English required
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching during shifts
Work performed in a manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving equipment

The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $19/Hr. -$21/Hr.. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
