Description

We are currently seeking to hire part-time food runners to join our banquet team!


At Fox Chapel Golf Club, we’re passionate about creating world-class dining experiences for our members and their guests. Our renowned Food & Beverage program is an integral piece of the Fox Chapel Golf Club experience, and we’re looking for talented individuals to join our team. You will have the opportunity to exceed member expectations at one of America’s Elite Distinguished Clubs. 


Under the direction of the Food & Beverage Director and Banquet Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day food & beverage operations. 

 

Experience:

  • Prior banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required

Salary Range:

  • $14.00-$16.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:

  • 6 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts
  • Daytime shifts, Evening shifts, Weekend availability, Holidays

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Food & Beverages — Transport plated meals, buffet items, and beverages from the kitchen to the event space quickly and safely.
  • Assist With Service Flow — Support banquet servers by restocking trays, clearing plates, and ensuring courses are delivered on schedule.
  • Maintain Presentation Standards — Ensure food arrives neatly arranged in accordance with event specifications.
  • Set Up & Break Down — Help prepare banquet rooms, including utensils, water service, and buffet setups; assist with cleanup after events.
  • Coordinate With Kitchen Staff — Communicate timing, special requests, dietary needs, and course changes between the kitchen and service team.
  • Keep Work Areas Clean — Maintain cleanliness of staging areas, service stations, and tray stands throughout the event.
  • Follow Safety & Sanitation Guidelines — Adhere to food-handling rules, proper lifting techniques, and venue safety procedures.
