Position General Responsibilities:
Originate construction real estate loans, in house real estate loans, and assistance to the secondary market real estate department. Represents the Bank in community activities.

Basic Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Sales Oriented.
- Previous banking experience.
- Have strong group of local contacts for business development or ability to develop a strong referral source.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of secondary market loan process preferred but not required.
Dimension of Job:
Handle the origination of construction real estate loans from start to finish and in house real estate loans while developing new business. Provide assistance to the secondary market real estate department.
Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Competencies
Real Estate Lending Functions:
- Originates in house residential real estate requests including construction loans, bridge loans, manufactured home loans with and without land, and bare land loans.
- Possesses the necessary skills to determine applicant's eligibility for qualifying for specific loans.
Real Estate Underwriting, Sales, Funding & Processing:
- On-going assessment of Real Estate Market to create an effective and competitive market.
- Communication with the Processing Center to provide the necessary tools to compete in the local market.
- Work in conjunction with the President, Marketing Officer and Consumer Loan Officer to develop and implement effective retail marketing programs.
New Business Development/Sales/Public Relations:
- Promote the improvement of Stockman Bank through quality customer service, promotion of products, professionalism in conduct and diligent work ethic.
- Greet all customers pleasantly and make them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Handle transactions quickly and professionally.
- Effectively handle customer questions and problems.
- Generate profitable new business for the Bank with overall responsibilities for the real estate department, including borrowing and depositor relationships.
- Maintain business relationship with contacts within the community, which can provide leads on other potential business for the Bank.
- Regular interaction with Realtors and other retail customers involved in real estate and consumer activities.
- Cross-selling of other Bank products to real estate and consumer loan department customers, including life insurance and other fee income services.
- Participation in community events and organizations.
