    Description:
    5 hours per day (Monday - Friday, except June 19th as there is no school)
    7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

    Job Summary:

    1. Support classroom instruction by working with small groups or individual students.
    2. Assist in the preparation and organization of instructional materials and activities.
    3. Supervise students during lessons, meals, transitions, and recreational activities.
    4. Reinforce behavioral and academic expectations in alignment with school policies.
    5. Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
    6. Provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding student progress and behavior.
    7. Assist with set-up and clean-up of daily classroom activities.
    8. Perform other duties as assigned by the lead teacher or program coordinator.



    Qualifications: 

    1. High School Diploma
    2. Strong affinity for students; celebrating and accommodating the differences each student brings to the school.
    3. Strong interpersonal skills in working with students.
    4. Proficient knowledge in classroom policies and procedures.
    5. Outstanding communication skills.
    6. Excellent observation and analytical skills.
    7. Skills in problem solving and conflict resolution with students.
    8. Strong ability to supervise small groups of students during academic activities.
    9. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
